Compressive strength is typically ≥ 80 kPa and can reach over 200 kPa. The product maintains excellent dimensional stability, resisting compression and deformation even under long-term loading conditions.

Rated as an A1 non-combustible insulation material, it can withstand more than 4 hours of fire exposure without releasing harmful smoke, ensuring dependable safety for building structures.

ABM® rock wool offers strong hydrophobic capability, effectively preventing water intrusion. Its extremely low water uptake—both in short-term and long-term conditions—ensures it fully complies with wall system moisture-control requirements.

Delivering high tensile performance (≥100 kPa) and excellent adhesion to substrates, the material also provides strong compressive resistance, enabling the insulation system to endure wind pressure and suction forces while maintaining long-term structural stability.

With an NRC value up to 0.9, the material efficiently absorbs noise, particularly in the mid–low frequency range, contributing to a quieter and more acoustically optimized indoor environment.

ABM® rock wool contains no asbestos or toxic substances and is non-carcinogenic. Its water extract shows neutral to slightly alkaline characteristics, ensuring no corrosion or damage to contacting components. The product is also free of CFCs, HCFCs, and HFCs, making it a safe choice for the environment and ozone protection.
