ABM® Multifunctional Building Rock Wool Board (MB Series) offers a wide range of density and thickness options, making it highly versatile. It is primarily used for fire protection, thermal insulation, and soundproofing in various building partitions, transparent curtain walls, and metal or stone ventilated curtain wall systems. It can also be applied for fire protection, insulation, and acoustic performance in ceilings, fire doors, and raised floors. Upon customer request, the product can be finished with single- or double-sided aluminum foil, glass fiber mat, or glass fiber cloth.

ABM® rock wool is a Class A1 non-combustible fire-resistant material with excellent high-temperature performance and a melting point above 1000 °C.

It maintains its structural integrity and thermal insulation even during fire exposure, effectively extending the fire resistance time of walls or structural components, and providing valuable time for evacuation and rescue.

With a thermal conductivity as low as 0.037 W/(m·K), it forms a highly efficient insulation layer.Maintains stable insulation performance over the long term.

Excellent Water Repellency & Moisture Resistance

ABM® rock wool features a water repellency rate of up to 99%.

Its fiber surface exhibits a lotus-leaf-like hydrophobic effect, preventing water droplets from penetrating into the material.

This structure allows it to remain dry and stable even in rainy or humid environments, effectively preventing condensation and ensuring long-lasting thermal performance.

Excellent Acoustic Performance

With a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) ≥0.80, it effectively improves the building’s acoustic environment and enhances occupant comfort.

Eco-Friendly, Safe & Durable

Extremely low slag content, with long, soft fibers providing excellent handling and installation experience. Chemically stable with a high acidity coefficient, non-corrosive, environmentally friendly, and ensures safety throughout the building’s lifecycle.
