ABM® rock wool is an A1-grade non-combustible fireproof material with excellent high-temperature resistance and a melting point exceeding 1000°C.
In the event of a fire, it maintains its structural integrity and thermal insulation performance, effectively extending the fire resistance duration of walls or building components, and providing valuable time for evacuation and rescue.
With a thermal conductivity as low as 0.045 W/(m·K), it forms a highly efficient insulation layer. Consistent performance year-round, effectively reducing heat exchange between indoors and outdoors, significantly lowering heating and cooling energy consumption.
ABM® rock wool offers excellent water repellency, with a water-repellent rate of up to 99%.
Water droplets roll off its surface like on a lotus leaf, making it difficult for moisture to penetrate the fiber structure.
Even in humid or rainy environments, it remains dry and stable, effectively preventing condensation and ensuring long-lasting and reliable thermal insulation performance.
It offers outstanding tensile performance of at least 100 kPa, enabling a strong and reliable connection to the substrate. With high compressive capacity, the system effectively withstands wind forces and suction pressure, maintaining dimensional stability and secure adhesion throughout long-term service.
ABM® rock wool is manufactured through advanced pendulum laying and corrugation techniques, forming a spatially interwoven fiber network with consistent distribution and increased compactness.
This optimized structure markedly improves load-bearing capacity and shape retention, effectively preventing long-term sagging or distortion and enabling the exterior wall system to deliver reliable and durable performance over the entire lifecycle of the building.
