ABM® Rock Wool is made from natural rock and is a Class A non-combustible material. With a melting point above 1000°C, it effectively slows down fire spread. In case of fire, it does not release toxic gases or molten droplets. Its excellent high-temperature performance and low thermal conductivity under extreme heat provide critical time to save lives and reduce property damage.
ABM® Rock Wool has been tested according to international standards such as ASTM C518/C177. It exhibits consistently low thermal conductivity across a wide temperature range, with superior thermal stability and environmental adaptability. Ideal for demanding industrial insulation and fireproof applications.
ABM® ensures that industrial insulation layers remain dry in humid environments, maintaining stable thermal conductivity, preventing energy loss and metal corrosion, and significantly enhancing system durability and energy efficiency.
ABM® Rock Wool is asbestos-free. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies rock wool products as Group C – not carcinogenic. Water extracts are neutral to mildly alkaline, causing no harm or corrosion to materials in contact. Free of CFCs, HCFCs, and HFCs.
ABM® Rock Wool’s fibrous structure forms a highly porous interconnected network, ensuring excellent acoustic absorption and noise reduction. It significantly minimizes sound reflection and transmission, creating a disturbance-free environment for work and living.
ABM® Rock Wool is resistant to freeze-thaw cycles and UV exposure. It does not expand or contract with seasonal temperature variations and can perform reliably under extreme climates without being affected by other materials.
